Certificate of Ministry

Arabic-language training for adults who did not complete high school or cannot enter degree study directly but want to grow in faith and ministry.

Who it serves

  • Adults who did not complete secondary education
  • Adults whose circumstances prevent direct university-level study
  • Adults from non-Christian backgrounds
  • Women and men who can read and write and meet the church-membership and recommendation requirements

Program requirements

  • 22 courses as listed in the manual
  • At least 36 course credits
  • 4 practical ministry credits
  • All current courses until additional electives are introduced

  • Foundational teaching: 3 courses
  • The Christian and the Bible: 11 courses
  • The Christian and Ministry Skills: 5 courses
  • The Christian Life: 2 courses
  • The Christian and Society: 1 course developed at the manual's date

  • Abundant Life — 18 lessons
  • Come Follow Me — 20 lessons
  • Abundant Light — a survey of Scripture and God's plan

Course sources

The manual says most Certificate of Ministry courses come from SEAN International and were translated into Arabic by PTEE; Come Follow Me was written by Dr Tim Green.
