01

Statement of faith

  • The 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and the infallible authority for faith and life
  • One God in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human; virgin-born, sinless, crucified for our sins, bodily raised, ascended, interceding and coming again
  • The Holy Spirit convicts, gives faith and new birth, indwells and sanctifies believers, and gives gifts to build the Church
  • Humanity was created in God's image but fell into sin, while retaining God-given dignity
  • Salvation is God's free gift through Christ, received through repentance and faith
  • The Church worships, disciples, proclaims the Gospel and serves society
  • Bodily resurrection to life or judgment
